KiCAD Tutorial: Creating a simple PCB

Now that you have a complete schematic, it will be easy to create a PCB for this circuit.

First, you will have to add the desired footprints for each component in the Schematic Editor.

Then, enter the PCB Editor, and create the PCB and the ground plane on the back of the PCB.

Next, create all the tracks, and check the design in the 3D viewer.

Finally, optimize the component label positions.

The PCB is now complete! All that is left is ordering the components and the PCB itself!
